The service

Mapform provides browser-based tools for designing, saving, and exporting personalized city, star, and race maps. Features, export limits, file formats, and resolution depend on the plan or one-time credit selected at purchase.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live, to make a purchase or enter into these terms. If you use Mapform for a business, you confirm that you have authority to bind that business.

Accounts

You are responsible for providing accurate account information, safeguarding your sign-in credentials, and all activity performed through your account. Notify us promptly at hello@mapformstudio.com if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

You may delete your account from the Account page. Account deletion may permanently remove saved projects and uploaded assets and does not, by itself, create a right to a refund.

Billing and subscriptions

Prices and included features are shown before checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe. By submitting a payment method, you authorize us and Stripe to charge the stated price, applicable taxes, and any recurring amounts disclosed at checkout.

Paid subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until canceled. You may cancel through the billing portal on your Account page. Cancellation stops future renewals and access continues through the end of the current paid period unless otherwise stated. We do not provide prorated refunds except where required by law or described in our Refund and Cancellation Policy.

We may change future prices or plan features by giving reasonable notice. A price change will not apply retroactively to a completed one-time purchase.

Map licenses

Free exports

Unless stated otherwise, free or standard-resolution exports are licensed for personal, non-commercial use. The three-export lifetime allowance is consumed when each export starts, even if rendering or the browser download fails. Retrying uses another free export. Separately stated promotional gift terms govern promotional credits.

Paid commercial exports

A paid one-map credit or an eligible paid subscription grants you a non-exclusive license to use the resulting high-resolution export for personal or commercial finished products, including client work and products you sell. You may modify the exported artwork and reproduce it in finished goods.

You may not resell, sublicense, redistribute, or make available Mapform’s software, source assets, templates, or an export as a standalone editable template or stock-design resource. Your license does not grant ownership of third-party map data, typefaces, photographs, trademarks, or other material incorporated into a project. You remain responsible for any attribution, permissions, marketplace rules, and third-party rights that apply to your use.

Your content

You retain ownership of names, messages, routes, photographs, and other content you upload or enter. You grant Mapform a limited license to host, process, reproduce, and display that content only as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the service.

You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to use your content. Do not upload confidential information or content that infringes intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or other rights.

Acceptable use

You may not use Mapform to break the law; create deceptive, hateful, abusive, or infringing content; distribute malware; test stolen payment cards; interfere with the service; bypass usage or export limits; scrape or reverse engineer protected parts of the service; or access another person’s account or data without permission.

We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect customers, Mapform, our providers, or the public, or when these terms are materially violated.

Third-party services

Mapform relies on third-party services for payments, authentication, hosting, map data, geocoding, email delivery, and optional commerce integrations. Their separate terms and policies may apply. Map and location information can be incomplete or inaccurate and should not be used for navigation, emergencies, surveying, or safety-critical decisions.

Availability and disclaimers

We work to keep Mapform available and exports accurate, but the service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, exact geographic accuracy, compatibility with every printer or marketplace, or that every design will meet a particular commercial purpose.

You are responsible for reviewing names, dates, routes, dimensions, colors, spelling, licensing, and print specifications before downloading, publishing, or selling a finished map.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Modern Textures, Inc. and its officers, employees, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from Mapform.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for a claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid to Mapform during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so those limitations apply only to the extent permitted.

General terms

These terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Refund and Cancellation Policy, form the agreement between you and Modern Textures, Inc. regarding Mapform. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable consumer law requires otherwise. We may update these terms as the service changes. Material changes will be identified by a revised effective date and, when appropriate, additional notice.
